It is a great honour and privilege to serve as Mayor for 2026–2027. Having lived in Kinmel Bay for over 54 years and served on the Town Council for many years , I care about our community and the people who live here.

Towyn and Kinmel Bay is a vibrant and welcoming place with a strong community spirit. I am proud to represent our residents and to support the many groups, organisations, volunteers, and local businesses that help make our area such a special place.

During my year as Mayor, I look forward to attending local events, meeting residents, and continuing to support projects that improve our community for everyone. I am committed to working alongside fellow Councillors, local organisations, and our residents to help Towyn and Kinmel Bay continue to thrive.

I am also pleased to be supported during the year by Deputy Mayor, Councillor Michael Smith, who has served the community with dedication and commitment. I look forward to working closely with him throughout the municipal year in supporting local initiatives and representing the residents of Towyn and Kinmel Bay.

I would like to thank the previous Mayor Councillor Deborah Mulvany for her hard work and dedication over the past year, and I look forward to serving the community to the best of my ability.

The Town Council works closely with Conwy County Borough Council (CCBC) to ensure that our Communities needs are met effectively and efficiently.  This partnership allows us to bring greater resources to Towyn and Kinmel Bay and by working together we build a safer, stronger place for everyone to live, work and visit.
